Delegation of the Romanian Nuclear and Radioactive Waste Agency to ANRANR

On December 4, 2025, at the headquarters of the National Agency for the Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activities, the visit of the delegation of the Nuclear and Radioactive Waste Agency (ANDR) from Romania took place, led by Mr. Mihăiță Găină, president, and Mrs. Ramona Georgiana Popescu, vice-president.
The visit was organized in the context of the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the nuclear and radiological field, the need for harmonization the national normative framework with the EURATOM acquis, as well as the strengthening of ANRANR's institutional capacities in the field of radioactive waste management.
The meeting represented an important step in the consolidation of the regional dialogue, the ANRANR-ANDR collaboration going to contribute to the improvement of radioactive waste management, the development of technical and institutional capacities and the deepening of cooperation with Romania and the partners of the European Union.
